As Salamu Alaikum!!!!!!! I am a former student of Islamic Home Schooling Academy. I graduated from 8th grade at the age of 13. And I have got to say it is THE BEST Islamic Elementary through Middle School in Richmond Virginia!!! The teachers may seem strict at first but if you are with them for eight years (like me) it will all pay off. Because High School and College is much harder then then Middle and Elementary school, I feel like I am so very prepared especially watching some of my classmates struggle at my new school. Although the front page of the site mentions that after 20 spectacular years, IHSA has closed it’s doors, we have chosen to leave the site up and running. There are many items here that would be helpful to any parent home schooler! In Richmond, VA, there are a couple of options for those not wanting to send their child to public school. 1) Al Madina School of Richmond. That site can be browsed at http://www.almadinarichmond.org 2) There is an Islamic online resource for home schoolers and they can be reached at http://www.newafricanummah.com/ .
